Dennis Alber Excavating, Inc. began in 1977 as a family excavating business grading ponds and building sites in Medina County, Ohio with a single D6 dozer and pull pan. Since then, Dennis Alber Excavating has developed the company into a full service site work contractor performing a variety of private and public projects in Northern Ohio.

Dennis Alber Excavating's customers include general contractors, builders, developers, and government agencies. They own and operate over 25 large pieces of excavating equipment used to complete institutional, commercial and industrial site work, underground utilities, building and site demolition, private and public roads, retaining walls, soil reinforced structures, and dams. They focus on negotiated projects using the design-build delivery method, partnering with Alber & Rice, Inc. Consulting Engineers for civil and structural design services.
